View stats

Detailed statistics of all your traffic on the Rambla CDN. Traffic is shown per formula: downloads (http), Darwin streaming (rtsp), Flash streaming (rtmp), FTP, etc. When requesting stats you will be prompted to enter your username and password once more.

Manage stats filters

Rambla offers you the possibility to filter traffic, hereby allowing you to generate statistics for specific files or folders. This can be useful for campaign/customer based traffic. For every formula you can define as many filters as required, by providing:

  • a name for the filter: this name will appear in the list under View stats
  • a filter operator: choose equals if you want to provide a full path
  • the file/folder path: specify the file/folder you want to filter on; use the Browse button to locate your files on the Rambla CDN and get the correct path
  • indicate whether your file path (url) contains a querystring (can be recognized by its first character, a question mark)
  • volume and email: if you would like to receive a warning when your traffic reaches a certain threshold, you can specify it here (in GB)

Under General threshold warning you can tell Rambla you would like to receive a warning when your overall traffic for that formula reaches a certain volume.

Browse media

After uploading (ftp) you will find your mediafiles here. Not all file extensions are shown in the controlpanel. Click on a folder link to view the contents of that folder. Right-click on a link to copy it. All mediafiles for downloads follow this url convention:

http://youraccount.cdn0X.rambla.be/optional_subfolders/myfilename.ext

If you need to send a link to one of your media files, without revealing the exact location of your files, you can do so by generating a temporary URL. This URL will contain a random string (hiding the real URL), and will be valid for only 24 hours.

Take into account that the mediafiles need approx. 5 minutes to sync over the different servers in the Rambla Content Delivery Network.
